Sweet Potatoe Pie
Ingredients:
1 pack pie crust (pet)
1 stick soft butter
1/4 cup carnation can milk
1 1/2 cup flour
1 egg
1 teaspoon cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
1 teaspoon vanilla flavor or vanilla butter nut flavor
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 or 1 1/2 cup sugar
2 or 3 sweet potatoes (medium size)
* Need a Mixer
MAKES: 2 pies
Preheat oven at 350 degrees. Cut off the skin on the sweet potatoes,Cook in boiling water until tender. Pour out water. Put potatoes in a large mixing bowl. Mix up potatoes in bowl. Next add butter mixing well on medium speed. Gradually pour in sugar while mixing to taste. Next pour in milk and egg, mix in vanilla,Gradually pour flour while mixing (mix well). Finally mix cinnamon,nutmeg in bowl. Put pie mixture evenly in each pie. Bake about 30 to 45 min or until middle of pie is done. Let set for an hour to cool.
